Vertical Opening Disconnect Switch

The AV switch (vertical opening) consists of a single base, two columns of ceramic insulators, and one column of polymeric insulator. The central column is articulated and operates the blades, while the two lateral columns are fixed, supporting the blades.

The support, base, and other metal parts are made of hot-dip galvanized steel, in accordance with standard NBR 6323.

It can be supplied according to customer requirements, for installation on both concrete and metal structures.

The switch can be operated either manually or by motor, using a control panel equipped with multiple auxiliary contact blocks. Additionally, electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical interlocking devices can be supplied as needed.

Maurizio Three Phase Switch are tested and approved in accordance with IEC 62271/NBR 7571 and ANSI C37-32.2002 Standards.
