The three-phase disconnect switch was developed for operation in substations and various opening and closing applications in power distribution systems, with voltage levels ranging from 15kV to 345kV.
The AV switch (vertical opening) consists of three columns of insulators, with the central column being rotatable to operate the blades, while the two lateral columns remain fixed, supporting the blades.
The switch phases are mounted on a steel tube base, with cast aluminum and stainless steel components complementing its assembly to ensure maximum safety and robustness. The use of adjustable profiles between the three phases enhances stability, and its insulators are made of porcelain.
The support, base, and other metal parts are manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel in compliance with NBR 6323.
It can be supplied according to customer requirements for installation on both concrete and metal structures.
The switch can be operated either manually or by motor, using a control panel equipped with multiple auxiliary contact blocks. Additionally, electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical interlocking devices can be supplied as needed.
Maurizio Three-Phase Disconnect Switches are tested and approved in accordance with IEC 62271, NBR 7571, and ANSI C37.32-2002 standards.
