Porcelain Cutout
The MZ-Type Porcelain Cutout was developed for operation in overhead distribution systems rated at 15, 27, and 38 kV grounded systems, with nominal currents of 100 or 200 A.
It is specifically designed to protect transformers, capacitors, cables, and lines.
Its robust construction, made from rigorously tested materials, ensures reliable interruption of all faults under the most severe conditions while maintaining both mechanical and electrical integrity.
The inserts, hardware, and structural bolts and nuts are made from heavy galvanized steel.
The MZ-type Standard Cutout can be applied to any three-phase system rated at or below the maximum operational rating of the cutout.
In highly polluted environments or areas with high salinity, a cutout with a higher nominal rating than that of the system may be used. In such cases, the insulator will have a greater leakage distance to ground, providing increased safety against discharge. For even better protection against abrasions, the hardware can be supplied in stainless steel.

The Fuse Holder includes a stainless-steel flipper, which, in conjunction with a spring, prevents the fuse link from being subjected to traction forces exceeding 3 Kgf, particularly during closing. This mechanism also allows for high-speed fuse link separation.
