The MZO type Fuse Switch (loadbreak) with load opening was developed to operate in distribution networks, at voltages of 15, 27 and 38 kV.
Specially designed to protect transformers, capacitor banks, primary cabins, lines and branches.
With this Arco Cut device the versatility of MAURIZIO protective equipment is increased, allowing openings under load without the use of special tools for its operation.
Its electrical characteristics are similar to those of a Fuse Switch type MZ (standard), offering protection against short circuits and overloads that simply burn the Fuse Link up to its maximum capacity specified in the Fuse Holder.
The load opening device allows the electrician to stop the load through a simple operation with a hot rod.
To interrupt the current, the electrician inserts the hot rod into the opening hook of the fuse holder and quickly opens the device.
Its operation is independent of the electricians operating speed, as during its opening the current is transferred from the upper contact of the switch to a mechanism with a stainless steel blade loaded by the force of a spring, where the arc extends, cools and extinguishes. .
It can be applied to any three-phase system with voltage equal to or lower than the Switchs maximum operating voltage.
Design in accordance with ABNT / ANSI / IEC standards.
