The Fuse Cutout type MZP was developed to operate in overhead distribution systems rated at 15, 27 and 38 kV grounded systems with 100 or 200 A nominal currents.
It is specifically designed to protect transformers, capacitors, cables, and lines.
Its robust construction, made from rigorously tested materials, ensures that it can interrupt all faults under the most severe conditions while maintaining both mechanical and electrical characteristics.
The insulator is constructed with an ECR fiberglass core enveloped in Silicone Rubber, offering a lower weight and greater leakage distance compared to the porcelain typically used.
The MZP-Type Polymer Cutout can be applied to any three-phase system rated at or below the maximum operational rating of the cutout.
In highly polluted environments or areas with high salinity, a cutout with a higher nominal rating than that of the system may be used. In such cases, the insulator will have a greater leakage distance to ground, providing increased safety against discharge. For even better protection against abrasions, the hardware can be supplied in stainless steel.
The MZP-Type Polymer Cutout features aluminum attachment hooks.
The fuse holder includes a stainless-steel flipper, which, in conjunction with a spring, prevents the fuse link from being subjected to traction forces exceeding 3 Kgf, particularly during closing. This mechanism also allows for high-speed fuse link separation.
Designed in accordance with ABNT, ANSI, and IEC standards.
